Our workshops aim to inspire, encourage and develop all abilities with new ideas and techniques. Whether you want to improve your sewing technique, become more accomplished or just want to sew for yourself or family, you have come to the right place. We offer friendly, affordable classes in a specially equipped workspace in Cambridge providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise, inspiration and ideas, whilst munching on biscuits and drinking tea!
Booking entitles you to a 10% discount in the CallyCo shop, and complimentary drinks and snacks are provided at all our classes. We also offer bespoke classes for birthday parties, hen events and specialist group/corporate sessions. Applique Cushion (beginners) £35

Want to create your own stylish cushion and improve your sewing techniques? This workshop, for all levels, will introduce you to the art of applique - bring along your own design or use one of our ready-made templates to create a unique design. You will then learn how to make a cushion cover with either an envelope fastening or a zip depending on experience and whether you like a challenge! You will finish this workshop with your own individual, personalised cushion cover and lots of ideas for more.
Materials to bring with you: 50cm of cotton duck fabric, two fat quarters (a 16” standard zip if you’d like to learn how to insert a zip)
Saturday June 17th 2pm to 5pm (Beginners) £35
You will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and also how to insert a zip. At the end of the session, you will have your own unique zip purse, make-up bag or pencil case to take home and enjoy with a passion to make many more!

Box Cushion (intermediates) £55
Wednesday 19th July 11-4pm
Box cushions are great for wooden kitchen chairs, outdoor furniture, window seats, floor cushions and more! Join us at this new workshop to learn how to make a piped and zipped box cushion cover. You will learn how to work out fabric needed, how to cut out to the correct size, attach piping and insert a zip so you can remove your cover and wash it. You'll be all set to make many more covers in various different sizes.
You will need: 1m furnishing fabric, 3m piping cord, 22" zip
